Artist's Statement
Susanne Darius
Susanne has recently developed a new style after she went to Spain to tour the art galleries of Miro, Picasso and Dali and the rugged landscape of northern Spain. She has long been searching for a unique and cohesive style and she believes she found it in her paintings of Spain.
In the past Susanne has painted watercolours, acrylics and has finally settled on oil as her favourite medium. Her subject matter ranges through landscapes, people and still life all filled with vibrant colour and light.
The future holds excursions into new colour combinations to best portray domestic and foreign images in her own style.
